Have you met your Inner Child?



The Inner Child is the part of a person's psyche that represents their early childhood experiences and emotions. This part is playful, imaginative, and emotional. The Inner Child's purpose is to seek pleasure, joy, and creativity. When this part is activated, individuals feel playful and free. However, when the Inner Child is wounded, it can lead to feelings of vulnerability, fear, and shame. The Inner Child's needs include play, creativity, and emotional expression.


The Inner Child is an internal part of an individual's psyche that represents their early childhood experiences and emotions.

It is important to validate and nurture the Inner Child's needs. This might involve engaging in play, creative activities, and emotional expression. In my practice, I emphasize the importance of healing the Inner Child's wounds through therapy, self-reflection, and self-care practices.

This might involve re-parenting oneself and providing the nurturing and validation that was lacking in childhood. It is also important to set boundaries and take responsibility for one's own emotional well-being.


Ultimately, the Inner Child is an important part of the inner family, representing the individual's emotional landscape and early experiences. By recognizing and nurturing this part, individuals can gain greater self-awareness and cultivate compassion for themselves and others. Healing the Inner Child can also help individuals break negative patterns and behaviors that may be holding them back in adulthood.
